Tecmet Engineering - tecmet - is a company with many years experience. It manufactures products in stainless steel, and coated carbon steels. Based in Trewellard, near Penzance, it has a wide range of customers, in diverse activities.

The Company supplies products to Cornwall County Council for various schemes, including street furniture. Other products are in the course of development. The Company also supplies products to District Councils. Examples being stainless steel jumbo toilet roll holders, bin-bag holders.

For many years it has supplied diverse items to various outlets such as hotels, public houses, restaurants, and fish processing companies. Products for general industrial applications, such as-pipe work & vessels of any size. It supplies stainless steel, or coated carbon steel, hand railing and balustrade, with various types of "in-fill" panels-toughened/laminated glass, steel tubing, bar, or wire.

Examples of other diverse items include an unusual design of "porthole window". These products are custom designed, engineered, and manufactured in the companies' industrial unit at Trewellard. In this process, account is taken of all engineering design requirements-stresses, wind loadings, building regulations etc., allied with aesthetic needs. If required, with in-built vandal resistance. This approach ensures that all our products are truly - "Fit for purpose".
